The Summer Lovin’ Tag

Who doesn’t love tag posts …specially when the topic is so cool and questions are fun! Its such a nice way of getting to know about eachother ..do u remember getting your slam book filled by your friends and crushes while you were in your teens? Haha, tag posts reminds me of those times!

Thank you my darling #instasister Sal @ummbaby for tagging me to do this. I always enjoy Sal’s recommendations and absolutely loved what she is reaching for this Summer.

To me, summer means beaches and holidays (tell me I’m not alone here, haha )!!! Without blabbering much, let’s move to questions

• Favorite Perfume

I don’t change my fragrance frequently but Calvin Klein ‘Secret Obsession’ has been my old favorite. This is floral and oriental in nature, described as a sultry infusion of exotic flowers and intoxicating woods to create a sensual, addictive fragrance.

Secret Obsession opens with top notes of plum, rose and nutmeg, which is then blended with a heart of tuberose and jasmine, all of which is neatly rounded off with a smooth base of amber, sandalwood and vanilla. This is seriously very addictive and my husband loves when I wear this (blush, blush ).

I recently treated myself to Jimmy Choo ‘Flash’ which is more of a party perfume. This has Sparkles of Pink Pepper, Tangerine and Strawberry introduce a flash of White Flowers and Tuberose.

Jimmy Choo describes this as Intoxicating and dangerously sexy, the scent parades on a catwalk of addictive Powdery Woods.

Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin (citrus notes) is on my wishlist

• Favorite Lip Color

Recently I have been drawn towards terracotta & muted red shades. Gerard Cosmetics hydra matte ‘Everything Nice’ and Colourpop ultra matte ‘Bumble’ have been my go-to lippies. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution ‘Bond Girl’ is a new found love which I recently got my hands on but was on my wishlist forever. This lipstick is from rosewood & mahogany shade family.

• Favorite Drink

I’m a sucker for Vanilla milkshakes and I also enjoy Soda lime with a dash of spices prepared by my dear husband

• Favorite Blush

Illamasqua blushes are hands down my all time faves particularly cream blush in shade Dixie (a very pretty deep peach blush) and powder blusher duo in Lover & Hussy (a beautiful duo of pink and peach).

I also love Amaretto, (a muted orange blush with terracotta undertones) blush from Becca cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Champagne glow face palette and Makeup Geek powder blush ‘Infatuation’ (a dark peachy blush with chocolate undertones).

• Favorite Clothing item

Definitely dresses for summer or shorts with an airy top works well for me on most days. I have a colourful maxi dress from Marks & Spencer which looks so pretty in photographs as well as in real life.

• Favorite Movie

Usually I’m a ‘Devil wears Prada’ kinda person but I also enjoy watching thriller movies like ‘Jack Reacher’ or movies based on real incidents like ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ , ‘Air Lift’ etc.

• Favorite TV show

I am not a TV person since last couple of years. Earlier I was addicted to Keeping up with Kardashians series but not anymore.

• Favorite Food

This might sound weird but I love snacking on wheat cereals. I know I know that’s lots of calories but I am addicted
