Spring 2019 – Polar Ice Collection
Spring 2019 collection is inspired by Glaciers and Arctic Life. Warming oceans and milting glaciers are a growing environmental crisis with a threat to Polar life specially polar bears, arctic foxes and other species. Earth’s balance is being disturbed and something needs to be done to protect these Polar species.
Chantecaille created this limited edition Spring Collection after Chantecaille siblings travelled to North Pole last year hoping to see polar bears and understood the grave situation of shrinking ice caps.
Later last month, I was very kindly invited by Chantecaille UK team for a pamper treatment by their trained Facialist & beauty Expert Elizabeth Torres at their Spa. Elizabeth gave me a Detox facial along with Blue Light treatment. My facial was followed by one to one makeup appointment by Chantecaille’s International Makeup Artist Ryan Bustos who showcased the Spring collection and gave me a makeover.

Lip Cristal’s breathtaking, crystalline bullet reveals a creamy formula that washes lips with sparkling color and metallic depth.
What sets this lipstick apart is its weightlessness: there’s zero grit or irritation, just silky, buildable color that leaves lips perfectly glossed and shiny. These lip crystals come in 3 shades:
- Citrine – A luminous pale peach with a sheen
- Tourmaline – A cool frosted pink with multicolor sparkle

When I first saw the palette on social media, the shades looked out of my comfort zone but when I saw it in person at Harvey Nichols, I really liked it. Honestly, I was blown away when I swatched it (the swatches in this post don’t justify the beauty of each shadow).
The pigment is incredible and these blend so easily as well. You can use either brush or finger for the shimmer shades. The eyeshadows are not gritty in texture. They are so finely milled and are buttery. Some shades reflect in multiple colours like holographic metallic effect. I am feeling the vibes of these colors at the moment and been rocking these light reflecting shades lately. I’m so ready for Spring!

The Spring 2019 collection is Luminous, Colorful & Dazzling and I absolutely love the formulas. The packaging is eye catching and chic while the pigments, textures and formulas are incredible. You can’t go wrong with anything here but the Polar Ice palette is my absolute favourite!
