Revlon is the brand which most of us are fond of specially my Mum! I have always seen her using Revlon lipsticks and foundations since I was young. The first makeup product I bought for myself ages ago was also from Revlon so its very special to me :).
Recently Revlon launched Youth Fx collection that has four targeted products to fill and blur lines as well as wrinkles. This collection is targeted more towards mature skin to provide better base to give a soft focus look to the skin. The whole makeup base application is divided into 4 steps with 4 different products.
Step 1 with Youth Fx Fill + Blur primer for Forehead | £14.99 – First step is all about filling and blurring deep forehead lines using Fill + Blur Primer that comes in a beautiful bottle with precision brush applicator. This brush helps reach deep crevices of forehead and is easy to apply. The primer dries quickly as matte blurry finish. This primer has thin consistency and feels very lightweight on skin. You can wear this alone as well if you don’t want to wear foundation but still want to blur your imperfections. Love it!!
Step 2 with Youth Fx Fill + Blur Primer for Face & Neck | £14.99 – This primer is fab at blurring imperfections at larger areas. Rubber applicator can be great for application and spread the product on face and neck. I personally like to spread it with my fingers. This primer comes with a press on button at bottom to push the product out. Easy to use and smart packaging makes it even better. This primer is sightly thick than forehead primer and has nude shade but blends as clear or adjusts to your skintone. It dries to undetectable matte yet blurry finish.
Step 3 with Youth Fx Fill + Blur Concealer | £11.99 – If you’re looking for an inexpensive concealer that doesn’t settle into fine lines, this can be your friend! This lightweight, hydrating concealer fills in and blurs lines with micro fillers and optical diffusers. The concealer has color correcting pigments to cancel darkness and brighten skin around the eyes. The cushion applicator makes blending easy like a dream. The concealer comes in 6 different shades from Fair to Deep to suit variety of skin tones. Shade 04 Medium is perfect for concealing (due to pink undertones) as well as brightening for my skin tone.
Step 4 with Youth Fx Fill + Blur Foundation| £13.99 – Mature skin can be uneven, have hyper-pigmentation and age spots. This lightweight yet full coverage matte foundation works in harmony with all the products of Youth Fx range and provides great coverage at hiding the age spots and hyper-pigmentation to give skin more even look. This foundation is available in 7 shades in the UK. Shade 240 Medium Beige is slightly lighter for my skin but it blends so well that it is not noticeable and I use bronzer to adjust colour slightly but I recommend getting a closest shade match by visiting your nearest drugstore.
Even if you do not want to get whole range, I would recommend atleast getting the primers. They are really nice at this price. I use the primer to blur large pores while I mix foundation with my moisturizer to use this as a lighter coverage base when I want to. I think that is the best part of full coverage products that you can always sheer them out :).
Have you tried Youth Fx Range by Revlon yet? What is your favourite product from Revlon?
Until next time..

lOoks like an awesome set of products. I like Revlon products. My favorite is their HD lipsticks and HD studio face primers. This range looks very promising…I love to try them too
I tried the foundation and the finish is cakey as hell on me and I have normal skin. Maybe I need to blend better? Do you use brush, fingers or sponge to apply?
I use my fingers but i do add a bit of moisturiser or a drop of oil because I opt for lighter coverage foundations Shireen. Try if it works this way for you.
I am totally digging the primer from this range! Thats a great review.. Thanks for sharing!

Revlon has some really good quality products. The primer seems promising. My first nail polish was from Revlon 😛

Even I have memories of my mother inextricably intertwined with Revlon.. Good to see new products from these good old brands.. Would love to try the primer from the range…
Wayne Goss raves about this range. I love the HD lip Crayons and the Colorstay foundation for oily/combination skin. For the past few days, ive been mixing it with the Marc Jacobs luminiser. It’s fab! Xx
