If you read my Valentine’s Gift Guide, you would know I mentioned about the Burberry Set I ordered as a gift to myself. It arrived in a beautiful gift box this morning and I was over the moon..And why not! I love treating myself every now and then.
I am a Burberry fan and this is quite evident on my social media and blog. I just had to try more from the brand so I decided to get the fragrance duo. My Burberry gift set from Burberry comes in a signature Burberry box with a gift ribbon packaging. The set comes with My Burberry Eau de Parfum and Moisturizing Body Mist.
My Burberry Eau de Parfum
- Inspired by the trench coat and its heritage of British design and craftsmanship, My Burberry captures the fragrance of a London garden after the rain
- The scent is a contemporary British grand floral
- The bottle reflects iconic details of the trench coat: a bold horn-finish cap echoes its distinctive buttons and the hand-tied bow is English-woven gabardine, honouring the fabric invented by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago.

This signature fragrance from Burberry was launched in September 2014. The nose behind My Burberry composition is Master Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian who has also developed three fragrances for the My Burberry family since 2013. He is the man who turns ideas into fragrances and that’s what he did with this beautiful fragrance.
As Burberry is a British brand, Francis took the inspiration from the British weather and city of London. He imagined a woman wearing a honey colored signature Burberry trench coat in a London garden, after the rain. The imagination of the fragrance revolves around flowers, clouds, rain and wet soil.
The composition opens with sweet peas and citrus-y bergamot leading to geranium leaf, golden quince and freesia in the heart. The base is rounded out with patchouli and rain-tipped damask and centifolia roses.
The fragrance comes in 30 ml, 50 ml, 90 ml and 900 ml bottle sizes. This set comes with 90 ml option and bottle is quite weighty as well as solid as you expect from Burberry.
My Burberry Moisturizing Mist
The set also comes with moisturizing body mist (100 ml) from the same My Burberry range. This body mist in Honey Trench is infused with the fragrance of My Burberry. It is very lightweight and easily absorbed.
The formula helps to soften and moisturize the skin while scenting it with notes of rose, patchouli and geranium leaf. I really like the bottle as it compliments the parfum so well. The gold hardware on the neck with signature Burberry plaid pattern looks so chic. The nozzle sprays fine mist unlike any other mists. The mist is also great for layering My Burberry fragrant products keeping your skin moisturized at the same time.
The price of these two fragrant products if bought separately is over £130 on Burberry website but this set costed me just over £62 at Notino.

The outer packaging of the gift set and the actual bottles look great. I like all the photos and the detailing on the packaging. The trench coat material and button aspect is so unique too. I like u depicted the features clearly in the photos.
