I love Makeup revolution products because it is a cruelty-free and super affordable brand in the UK. Makeup Revolution do not test their products on animals and they do not sell in China (which means there is no testing on animals even by third parties). This makes it more preferable brand by so many people who are against Animal Testing.
Makeup revolution launched this hearts collection in three forms – Blushers, bronzers and highlighters. I bought two of the blushers in shades Peachy Keen and Blushing Hearts. These are triple baked blushes which contain three blush shades inside each heart that you can swirl together to get your perfect flush.
Looks exactly like Too Faced Sweetheart Blushes £24 but at such an affordable price £4.99 😀
Packaging: The packaging of these blushers is super cute. It comes in cardboard heart shaped boxes just like Too Faced sweetheart blushers.
Texture: These baked blushes are really soft when your swirl your finger on it. Feels buttery on the skin which makes me like the texture more.
Pigmentation: Both the blushes i picked are very pigmented so use a light hand and tap off the access from your brush before applying to your face.
Blushing Hearts shade: This blusher has cool toned pink shades. This blusher is little more frosted than the other shade but it gives a glowy metallic finish on the face. Its definitely a blusher-highlighter in one so you need not apply two separate products. As this one is little shimmery, i would prefer a lighter hand with this. You can also use these as eye shadows 🙂
Peachy Keen shade: I am in love with this one. The three shades in this blusher are right up my alley. As I am medium skin tone, i prefer warm shades on my skin. Peaches, golds and bronze are my friend. This particular blush has peachy, copper and pink tones which look so pretty when swirled together. This gives a beautiful finish on the skin. Peachy Keen is definitely one of my favorite blushers now 🙂
If you are into matte blushes, these may not be for you. But if you love baked blushes, i highly recommend checking these out. There is nothing to lose at this price 🙂
