Eye Creams for Sensitive Skin

You might have heard already that the skin around our eyes is very thin and delicate, and therefore susceptible to aging quicker. If you have super sensitive skin in general, you need to use a dedicated eye cream suitable for your skin type to avoid any sort of irritation. Contact Lens wearers may find regular skincare causes eyes to puff or water. Not only this, if you suffer from rosacea, eczema, or hay fever, you’ll have to take a few things into account like investing in special eye moisturizers suited for sensitive skin.

Velvet Tonka from BDK Parfums Paris

Tonka bean is an ingredient full of contrasts, sometimes reminiscent of vanilla leather, sometimes of almonds, sometimes even revealing chocolatey facets. Velvet Tonka is characterized by its trilogy of tonka bean, orange blossom, and almond. When worn on the skin, it coats it like an oriental delicacy dusted with icing sugar. The balmy tonka bean is adorned with almonds and rose petals for a velvety touch, and with a hint of tobacco absolute to give it a honeyed feel. In the base, addictive notes of milky Amyris wood unfurl, enhanced by ambroxan and vanilla absolute for an unparalleled velvetiness and sensuality. Velvet Tonka is a tribute to the Moroccan origins of founder David Benedek and to the iconography associated with the region through its flavors and its landscapes, like a sweet, indulgent breeze coming straight from the Atlas Mountains. – BDK PARFUMS

Crème de Cuir – BDK Parfums Paris

It’s the Indian summer when the hot days are over and the sweet freshness of the evening begins to fall. A sensual elixir marked with white and beige hues, a pure representation of contemporary sensuality. The perfume evolves through the monochromatic style of Rothko where materials are dancing in a circle one after another one. The leather is stripped down, dusted off any impurities, made it white and pure. The green notes embrace passionately while musk and bergamot push to the skies of Italy.

How to find a perfect nude lipstick for your skin tone?

Finding a perfect nude is like finding a perfect life partner – we all need one and it is so freaking difficult to find THE ONE! However, when you find your perfect nude, I bet that is even better than your real-life partner lol. Jokes apart, getting your shade matched for the perfect nude is the hardest job ever. It is like matching your skin to the right foundation shade or finding that perfect tailored fit for your suit. Once you find it, there’s no looking back! Nude lipsticks have been chic lip staples for many decades. They’re fab for an easy makeup look or for pulling the whole smokey eye look together! When it comes to nudes, one shade doesn’t fit all and that is why it is so important to find ‘your lips but better’ shade for your own skin tone.

How to Choose Between Foundation, BB Cream, and CC Cream?

When it comes to base products, the makeup aisles are loaded with a plethora of products whether it is foundations, tinted moisturizers, BB creams, or CC Creams. It was just the foundation and powder but over the years, we have got way a lot more options than ever – maybe too many options! From tinted moisturizers to alphabet creams and more, choosing which one is THE ONE for you may be overwhelming. But worry not I’ve done my research and am here to lay it all for you to make your life a little simpler.

BEST Rose fragrances you need to get your nose on!

BEST Rose fragrances you need to get your nose on!

Rose Fragrances do not have a very good reputation and when we say a rose scent, most people associate it with a grandma-type scent. However, there are some amazing rose fragrances that are anything but old school. Here, in this post, I have curated a list of some of the BEST roses that you need to get your nose on. Trust me, you’ll thank me later! Also, a major thank you to everyone who voted when I conducted a poll for Rose vs Floral Bouquet on my Instagram Stories. Let’s do this!

Best Sun Protection for Kids & Babies

With all the drama going around SPF in the skincare industry lately, I feel it becomes so overwhelming not just for general consumers but for beauty enthusiasts too. With so many options available on the market, it can be hard to know which ones are actually safe for children. Whether the Sun Protection Factor level is highest or just minimum, some sun protection is still better than no protection at all. In the UK, the highest SPF you get is SPF50 and it is recommended to wear atleast SPF30. The NHS recommends that newborns under six months should stay out of the sun entirely, but after that, the higher the SPF, the better. Regardless of where you live and the weather, you should wear SPF every single day without fail. Even when I’m not going out, I like to keep my window curtains open which means I need to wear SPF even when I am at my home. As a mama of two kids (an 8 months old toddler and a 7-year-old boy), I try to look for kids-friendly SPF which are super easy to use and are safe for my kids. I have tried a few options in the last 7 years and here in this post, I am sharing the ones I liked the most.

Best Nail Paints for minimalists – Is red a new neutral?

I know minimalists prefer minimal aesthetics, natural-looking makeup, and when it comes to nails, they like to go for neutral shades. Neutrals go with every outfit and never clash with colors and that is why they’re my absolute faves too! However, back in the days, neutrals were just nude tones but now there is a full spectrum of colours within neutrals and they’re anything but boring! Neutrals are chic, understated and if they’re closer to your skin tone, they even elongate your nails. You don’t want mannequin hands either therefore don’t try to match your nail paint with your skin color exactly. Finding a neutral shade that works with your skin tone is easier than ever!
